Team Lead
The team lead of Silicon Valley Chess Club oversees the organization's direction, partnerships, and operations, ensuring high-quality programs and events that promote chess education and community engagement.
Venkat
Founder / Team Lead
Venkat, founder and lead coach of SVCC, began playing chess at age five and quickly rose through the ranks—becoming a state-level runner-up in his debut and later a university champion. A former Indian Air Force officer, he has coached over 700 children and now collaborates with inspiring individuals worldwide under his motto: “Coach Them Young and Watch Them Grow!”
Branch Leads
The Branch Lead of Silicon Valley Chess Club is responsible for managing the infrastructure of local operations, grassroots recruitment for new members, and ensuring a smooth experience for students and parents.

Aravind
Dev & Logistics
Aravind's an affable & easygoing individual. He's one of the people in charge of the website and technical logistics of our tourneys, courses, and any kind of promotional activities. He loves debating, reading, 3D printing, and building Legos.
Deepa
Lead Coordinator
Deepa is a coordinator for Silicon Valley Chess Academy, and makes sure that everyone has a smooth process in terms of HR & customer care. She loves singing, painting, dancing and also enjoys working with kids and teaching them chess.
Anant
Lead Developer
Anant is our lead in the technical sphere, from managing the website to providing helpful advice & suggestions for online tourneys. He loves to code, read, & build websites & applications, using C++ and Java. Anant has a B.E. degree from VTU.
